Crude oil futures hit another record Monday, closing at $80.57 a barrel, and the overnight trading price into Tuesday topped $81 for the first time as prices continued to limb, Bloomberg reported.

Crude prices pushed past the $80 last week for the first time ever, closing at $80.09 a barrel on Thursday.
