Fleet management technology provider Cadec Global Inc. announced that Pete Allen has joined the company as its new CEO.

Allen was previously senior vice president of global sales at telematics company Inthinc. He has also held senior executive positions at GreenRoad Technologies, formerly known as Drive Diagnostics, and Xata Corp., which recently changed its name to XRS Corp.

Jon Bernstein, previously Cadec’s CEO and chairman, has become executive chairman and will remain active in managing the company, Cadec announced Aug. 22.

Bernstein became CEO and chairman followinga href="/articles/old/27442">Cadec’s acquisition by New York investment firm BlackBern Partners in August 2011.
