Bush Leasing Debt Plan Approved by Ohio Judge

Bush Leasing will emerge from bankruptcy sometime in April, after a March 22 judicial decision approved the company’s reorganization plan.

Based in Wilmington, Ohio, Bush filed to reorganize its debts with .S. Bankruptcy Court in southwestern Ohio on Jan. 11, 2000. The plan was approved by Judge Thomas G. Waldron.

According to Terry Lee, the company’s senior vice president, “The biggest single factor leading to the bankruptcy was our debt structure. We had tried for 18 months prior to the filing to restructure the debt, but ultimately we had to file.
