Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations said March 20 it promoted Kurt Danielson to president of its U.S. and Canada commercial tire sales.

Danielson will oversee and guide all of Bridgestone’s commercial tire business operations.

He was prest of Bridgestone’s commercial solutions team since 2011 and oversaw “sustained and solid growth in the commercial tire market,” CEO Gordon Knapp said in a statement.

Bridgestone said Danielson will guide efforts to grow market share, identify and bring to market new products and services, create business efficiencies and grow and identify talent.
