A&R Logistics said Wednesday it acquired Pacific Chemical Distribution Corp. and its affiliate Pacific Bulk Transportation Co., for an undisclosed sum.

Pac Chem is a plastics packaging and transportationvider based in Buena Park, Calif.

A&R Logistics, Morris, Ill., provides of bulk transport and logistics services to the plastic resin industry. It operates from 24 facilities in the United States and manages a fleet of about 700 tractors and 1,100 bulk and dry van trailers.
