Transportation technology provider ALK Technologies has formed a new group responsible for all of its products and services sold worldwide to transportation angistics companies, ALK announced Friday.

The newly formed group, named Enterprise Solutions, consists of the PC*MILER, CoPilot Truck and CoPilot Live Professional product lines plus supporting map data, software tools and services, ALK said.

In a statement, CEO Barry Glick said the reorganization enables ALK “to meet the growing needs of the global transportation, logistics and mobile enterprise markets for fully integrated transportation-specific routing, mapping, and navigation.”

At the same time, ALK also announced the formation of a Consumer Products Group responsible for the CoPilot Live GPS navigation apps available for iOS, Android and Windows Mobile platforms.
