U.S. Class 8 retail sales experienced a sequential increase in May despite continuing to trend below the prior year, according to data from Wards Intelligence.

Preliminary net data showed orders increased 6,600 units when compared with last year. This year's monthly results have been split between positive and negative prior-year comparisons.
