Volkswagen Shuffles Execs; Changes Truck Chief

Volkswagen AG appointed a new trucks chief, added a top executive for China and replaced three Audi board members as part of a shakeup to push forward with growth plans, Bloomberg reported Monday.

CEO Martin Winterkorn said Swedish truck maker Scania AB鈥檚 CEO, Leif Oestling, will join VW鈥檚 management board to help forge a truckmaking alliance between Scania, Germany-based MAN SE and the VW鈥檚 commercial-vehicles unit, Bloomberg reported, citing Wolfsburg, Germany-based Volkswagen.

Outgoing trucks chief Jochem Heizmann will shift to a new board post with responsibility for China, VW鈥檚 largest market, Bloomberg said.
