Truckload carrier USA Truck said Robert Peiser has been appointed the company’s new chairman.

Peiser — who joined the Van Buren, Ark.,Ìýcarrier’s board in February — succeeds Terry Elliott, who will continue in his other position as chairman of theÌýcompany’s audit committee.

USA Truck, which is ranked No. 49 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
