railer Bridge Inc., a provider of integrated trucking, intermodal and marine freight services, reported first-quarter net income of $976,000 or 8 cents a share.

The results compared with net earnings of $360,000 in the first quarter last year or a loss of 1 cent per share. The per-share loss had been due to preferred stock that was no longer outstanding, related to its acquisition of K Corp.
