Trade Deficit Jumps 10.4% in March

The U.S. trade deficit grew by 10.4% in March as oil imports surged, the Commerce Department said Thursday.

The trade gap-gain toÌý$63.9 billion was more than the $60 billion forecast by economists, Bloomberg reported.

March’s trade-deficit increase came as oil reached a six-month high and consumer goods imports remained high, Bloomberg said.
