Moving company Sirva Inc. said it has appointed Wes Lucas its new chief executive officer, succeeding Robert Tieken, who the company said led it through its successful financial reorganization.

Among Lucas’ previous positions were as chairman and CEO for Sun Chemical, which has about $4 billion in annual sales, from 2001 to 2006.

Sirva emerged from bankruptcy and become a privately held company in May.

The parent company of Allied Van Lines and North American Van Lines, Sirva is ranked No. 22 on the Transport To100 list of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
