A&S Services Group said Monday it has acquired Kinard Trucking and its affiliates. Terms were not disclosed.

The combined company will serve shippers in the Mid-Atlantic region, from the Northeast to North Carolina and as far west as Indiana, A&S said in a statement.

Kinard has a fleet of 200 power units and more than 1,000 air ride vans and selected specialized trailers, according to its website.Ìý

With facilities in Baltimore and in New Freedom, Pa., A&S, which was foed in 1982, provides trucking, warehousing and logistics services.
