Ryder System said it is offering new transportation and logistics management services for the oil and gas industry.

The services include providing better ways to transport equipment and improve supply chain visibility through Ryder’s customized dedicated fleets, management and fleet-leasing and rental services.

“Companies that drill for oil and gas are facing significant transportation challenges,” Ryder Dedicated Senior Vice President John Sonia said in a statement.��

Ryder’s transportation buying power and expertise in logistics engiering can help reduce cost, improve safety and increase efficiencies, said Sonia.
