Quantum Offers New CNG Tank, Virtual Pipeline Options
Quantum Fuel Systems announced it will manufacture a new compressed natural gas fuel cylinder for heavy-duty trucks that provides up to 60 diesel gallon equivalents and allows back-of-cab window visibility.
The Q-Cab60 is the lightest tank in the industry, weighing 135 pounds, to achieve 60 dge by a single tank, according to the Lake Forest, Calif.-based company.
Also, its Virtual Pipeline trailers for CNG will have expanded gas-transportation capabilities, including biogas, hydrogen and flare gas in 2018, Quantum said.
