Tanker carrier Quality Distribution, Tampa, Fla., announced Thursday it will pay $60 million to acquire privately-held Boasso America Corp., a Chalmette, La., company that provides tanker cleaning and maintenance services, Bloomberg News reported.

Boasso has annual revenue of about $70 million,cording to Bloomberg.

The companies expect to complete the sale in the fourth quarter.

Quality ranks No. 35 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in the United States and Canada.
