Onboard communications provider PeopleNet Commuions Corp. and Drivewyze, creator of an electronic weigh station pre-clearance system, said they have agreed on a collaboration to offer products together.

The two companies said they signed a memorandum of understanding to explore ways they can deliver their complimentary products and services to PeopleNet's customers.

PeopleNet said it is the first onboard computing provider to sign a memorandum of understanding with Drivewyze.

Drivewyze’s system uses GPS technology to provide commercial vehicles with bypass opportunities at more than 200 weigh stations and mobile inspection sites.
