P.A.M. Transportation Services said its board of directors has approved a special dividend of $1 per share.

The one-time dividend is payable April 9 to stockholders of recordÌýas ofÌýMarch 30, the truckload dry van carrier said late Tuesday.

A total ofÌý$8.7 million will be paid on the company’s 8.7 million shares of common stock through the special dividend.

P.A.M. is ranked No. 62 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
