Optronics Reveals New LED SuperLamp Technology
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Optronics International unveiled a new LED SuperLamp technology line of truck lights here that the company said boosts performance by re-engineering electrical components with chemical- and ultraviolet light-resistant coating.
“The big thing is cost — it gives [fleets] a lifetime light at the lowest possible cost,” Optronics CEO Brett Johnson said at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s 2015 annual meeting.
“We believe that the industry deserves better than just small, incremental advancements to lighting,” he said at a TMC press conference on Feb. 15, adding that the company is targeting May to begin shipping the product line.
