Transportation holding company Intrenet Inc. () continues to investigate its finances so that it can resume trading on Nasdaq’s small cap listings.

The company’s chief financial officer said Nov. 8 he does not know when the investigation by outside counsel will be complete.

The inquiry concerns financial reporting from the 2½-year period of Jan. 1, 1998, through June 30 of this year. Intrenet has five subsidiaries — four trucking companies and a logistics provider — and the investigation centers on reports from Advanced Distribution System of Columbus, Ohio, a flatbed carrier.

Intrenet is based in Milford, Ohio. Its stock was last traded Oct. 13 for $1.38 a share. Over the last year, the price has ranged from a high of $3.25 a share down to a low of $1.25, according to Yahoo! Finance.
