Forward Air Names Rebecca Garbrick Chief Financial Officer
Forward Air Corp. announced it named Rebecca Garbrick chief financial officer and treasurer, effective July 4.
Most recently, Garbrick was chief accounting officer. She joined the Greeneville, Tenn.-based company in late 2020 as controller.
Forward Air ranks No. 33 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriersin North America.

“Rebecca has contributed a tremendous amount to our company in a relatively short time. She is a very capable leader, who will drive our investor relations efforts and help inform our company’s strategic growth goals,” Chairman and CEO Tom Schmitt said in a release.
The announcement comes as the company noted it is executing a growth strategy that involves organic infrastructure investments, such as its ongoing LTL network expansion, as well as inorganic investments, including acquisitions of complementary businesses. — Transport Topics
