DEARBORN, Mich. – Ford Credit announced plans to acquire AMIing Group of Worcester, Mass.

AMI will become part of Ford Credit North America’s lending operations, company officials said.

The AMI group provides car, truck and equipment leases and also provides logistics, vehicle maintenance, manage-ment and support services.

Ford Credit is a subsidiary of Ford Motor Co.
