FedEx Corp. said Thursday that its FedEx Express business unit has completed its acquisition of the Polish courier Opek Sp.z o.o. Terms were not released.

The acquisition, previously announced in April, expands FedEx’s reach in Europe and gives FedEx Express access to a ground network that moves about 12.5 million shipments and generates about $70 million in revenue per year.

FedEx is ranked No. 2 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
