DHL to Handle International Shipments for Calif. Biomed Firm
DHL said it will provide international express shipments to and from the United States under an agreement with biotech company Beckman Coulter.
The Brea, Calif.-based company manufactures biomedical instrument systems, tests, and supplies, DHL said in a statement Tuesday.
DHL will provide door-to-door international shipping for Beckman Coulter in addition to the cross-border shipping, DHL said.
The agreement between the companies includes the requirement that DHL honor Beckman Coulter's time-critical shipment needs while complying with both U.S. and international requirements for shipping biomedical equipment.
DHL is the logistics unit of Germany-based Deutsche Post.
