Decisiv Announces SRM Alliance
Coalition Brings Together OEMs, Tech Providers to Shape a Unified Service Standard

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — unveiled an to collaborate on developing the next generation of service-management technology and standards March 15 during a session at TMC 2026.
The SRM Alliance brings together truck manufacturers and technology service firms to fund, govern and shape the evolution of the Decisiv Service Relationship Management platform. The founding members include Paccar, Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Hino Trucks and KPIT, and the alliance also is supported by dealers, component suppliers and service partners. The alliance hopes to improve service workflows to update the platform more efficiently.
“For 25 years, the commercial vehicle industry has had software that manages service,” Decisiv said. “Today we’re announcing something different —… a coalition of the willing” that brings together leading manufacturers, development partners and the voice of influential dealers in the marketplace.
Hardin added that these coalition partners are developing a process in which dealers and technicians can more easily get the parts they need.
“When I joined a year ago, this was something we were talking about and had been talking about for a great deal of time,” Hardin said. “But in the last six months, it’s really come together.”
Hardin expects the alliance to grow as more partners join and has engaged in conversations with potential partners at TMC 2026. The growth also is likely to include the formation of working groups to help members forge a road map for meeting its objectives.

“We want to own the outcome and really create a seamless experience for our customers, and for all of those that are involved in the supply chain,” Hardin said.
Years in the the Making
Decisiv began its standardization journey more than a decade ago to bring different platforms together. The process has involved developing specifications for integrating dealer management systems. The alliance marks an evolution of that process by uniting various platform providers to arrive at a set of standards.
“Now here we are, coming together as an industry, really to establish those as formal standards,” Pete Russo, chief alliance officer at Decisiv. “Not just DMS [dealer management systems], but telematics, fleet management systems and various data providers, diagnostic tools. There’s lots of different ecosystem partners that come into play here.”
Russo said the alliance can be divided into three main parts. The executive committee consists of Decisiv, vehicle manufacturers and KPIT, and is tasked with driving the road map, setting priorities and providing funding. The next part consists of dealer groups and fleets, and the last part will cover ecosystem partners such as video inspection and diagnostic tool providers.
Russo said the goal is to make decision-making more transparent and coordinated across the industry. “Everything is transparent and governed,” he said, rather than each OEM, DMS provider and Decisiv “throwing out their different ideas” in separate conversations.
