Dana Names Gary Convis CEO
Parts supplier Dana Holding Corp. said Thursday it named retired Toyota Motor Corp. executive Gary Convis its new chief executive officer.
Convis, who served as chairman of Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Kentucky before retiring last year, will take over Dana, which emerged from bankruptcy protection in January following two years of restructuring.
Convis “is widely respected as one of the leading experts in lean manufacturing and management systems,” said Dana Chairman John Devine, who served as acting CEO since January.
