The opposition Liberal Party supports the bill, which would end the strike at Canada’s largest freight rail line that began Feb. 10. The measure may become law at the beginning of next week, Bloomberg said.Workers went on strike after failing to reach an agreement to replace a three-year contract that expired Dec. 31, in a dispute over wages and work conditions. Managers have replaced workers to keep CN’s freight operations running.The strike has delayed shipments of coal, grain and auto parts, and has held up cargo at the port of Vancouver, British Columbia, Bloomerg reported.Earlier this week, the government appointed a mediator in an attempt to end the strike.(
