American Truck Associations has announced a reorganization of the management of the Highway Watch program.
ATA said the program, designed to combat terrorism and other criminal activity, now would be under the leadership of Dave Barefoot, a senior vice president and the association鈥檚 chief financial officer.
The program is a joint venture between ATA and the Department of 91视频land Security.
Prasad Sharma, ATA鈥檚 assistant general counsel, has been promoted to serve as Highway Watch鈥檚 new executive director and general counsel. Bill Jacobs, who formerly ran Highway Watch, has resigned.
