CRST International Inc. on Tuesday announced the appointment of Andrew Hadland as president of Specialized Transportation Inc., one of CRST’s operating companies.

STI is an asset-based provider of specialized logistics services.

CRST said it hired Hadland in February as chief operating officer to succeed Ian Nicolson, who is retiring at the end of July.

>Prior to joining CRST, Hadland was senior vice president and general manager for logistics provider Exel’s managed transportation business.
