Agility Acquires Mexican Logistics Firm

Third-party logistics company Agility said that it has acquired Trafinsa S.A. de C.V., a Mexican company with which it has partnered before.

Trafinsa, Mexico City, provides cargo management and air and ocean export services to industries such as food, automotive and cement, Agility said in a statement Wednesday. It has four branches in Guadalajara, Monterrey, Mexico City and Laredo (Texas).

Agility has partnered with Trafinsa for 23 years, Mike Bible, chief executive officer of Agility Americas said in the statement.

The acqsition closed at the end of April, Agility said.
