Drivers of heavy trucks will pay up to $12 to cross two future bridges and one existing bridge across the Ohio River in the Louisville, Ky., area under a plan approved by a bi-state commission overseeing the project to build the new structures.

Crews in Washington state are planning to move a new span of the Interstate 5 Skagit River bridge into place on the night of Sept. 14, the Washington State Department of Transportation said.
